“I’m not sure what to say about this tea really; it’s clean, smooth, nice huigan, tongue-tingling, mouth-cooling, spicy.. It puts the storage of many teas to shame, and overall it delivers. BUT it’s...” Read full tasting note

Description

This cake was made with the classic 7542 style recipe for Yunnan Sheng Gongsi (Zhongcha /CNNP) by Liming factory around the time of its opening. The tea was stored in dry storage in south China. The cost of this cake is higher than most of our offerings, but is considered to be slightly above average in its bracket in the current Chinese market. The price is in part due to the pedigree of the cake being real 7542 from CNNP and in part due to the clean, dry storage of the cake. The tea has a classic fragrance of wood, and is smooth enough to drink now. There are very faint hints of any humidity, which most tea drinkers will not even notice.
