This is tree #2 of 2 single tree batches I picked up this year. The leaves for this tea come from a really big tree growing in the Thượng Sơn area of Hà Giang. 3.5 kilograms of tea was made this season.

This is a strong tea. You will start to feel an energy building after the second or third infusion. The tea soup is thick and oily, and has an interesting fragrance, lots of familiar and unfamiliar forest flavors. A moderate astringency builds in the front of the mouth that balances nicely with the sweetness of this tea. Huigan is strong and lasting.
