Thượng Sơn Big Tree #1

This is tree #1 of 2 single tree batches I picked up this year. The leaves for this tea come from a really big tree growing in the Thượng Sơn area of Hà Giang. 4 kilograms of tea was made this season.

This tea brews up about medium in consistency with a hazy golden soup. There’s a nice pine-floral fragrance with a pleasing astringency and bitterness that builds and balances nicely with the sweetness of this tea. Nice energizing qi and sweet pine huigan.

I think this is a great tea for longer sessions as you can expect 10+ brews.
