There aren't any tasting notes for this tea yet.
This fabulously named tea is a green tea originating from the Tai Pu Mountains of the Fujian province of South East China. Unlike other provinces where harvest is seasonal, here there is an all year crop, attributed in a legend to a local mountain fairy who was said to have blessed the region. When trying to catch her and thank her, one of the golden locks was captured – hence the name!
Wonderfully full tasting with some distinctive autumn vegetable notes, this is best enjoyed with savoury dishes.
