Description

Green Smile, or Hari Muskan, is a very bright and beautiful green tea from the Nilgiri (Blue) Mountains in southern India. Its name is believed to have originated from its “smile-like” appearance.

Grown at elevation in the Nilgiri hills, the resilient nature of this hardy leaf is immediately evident in its stimulating effects and bold flavor. Its twisted, wiry appearance is unlike other Indian leaves, a testament to the success of modern tea agriculture.

As the leaves unravel, layers of aromas and flavor are gently released. Expect roasted chestnut and corn on the nose, and a mildly astringency in the cup… A buttery, nutty flavor has notes of grapefruit, toasted walnuts, and orchid…
