“This is a really weird Genmaicha to me. It has a bit hole in the back of the throat. You’ve got taste and textures around the cheeks and tongue and towards the round back of your mouth but right...” Read full tasting note

Description

Our loose leaf Genmaicha green tea gives a light yellow brew.

Japanese Bancha with roasted rice. Mild and grassy, and slightly sweet as the toasty tones offset astringency. Good with steamed food and light fish.

Mild grassy tea combines with the scent of the roasted rice making this tea immensely popular and it is often enjoyed as an accompaniment to food.

A true Japanese classic and a light yellow cup of tea.
