From The Tea Girl

Immerse in the velvet allure of creamy hazelnut intertwined with decadent chocolate sweetness. An indulgent blend of Yunnan black and puerh teas with Jacek cocoa nibs all gilded with gold dust.

Blenders Notes: I had some interest in creating a hazelnut flavoured tea which only differs slightly from other nut flavours. I sampled 6 different types of flavours and ended up combining 2 for the perfect confection styled flavour. The tea was to mimic the feeling and allure of the gold wrapped hazelnut confection, Ferrero Rocher, so for the final touch, the tea is dusted with gold for added opulence.

Ingredients: black tea, puerh tea, cocoa pieces, marigold, flavour, food grade edible glitter (mica Ti02). (no actual nuts)

This one wasn’t my favorite. Chocolate teas and I don’t tend to get along, but also this type of hazelnut flavoring reminds me of hazelnut coffee creamer and for some reason that taste is just so cloying to me. Not sure why, it’s not like I had a bad experience with hazelnut coffee ha ha.

I actually didn’t get a ton of chocolate, but the hazelnut was quite strong. At least the glitter was restrained! ;)
