Had this as a to-go cup today during a tea meetup. Dry it smells like peach with a dash of ginger. Brewed . . . it lost most of the flavour from the aroma. It was a nice tea, and definitely had fruit notes, but it wasn’t what I was hoping for. A nice tea, just not one that makes me think of millions of peaches for me.

To-go from the store yesterday, this didn’t quite live up to what I expected from sniffing the canister. It turned out a little bitter, and the super-fragrant peach was a lot more subtle. It was a nice peach flavour, though. Gentle but juicy.

This came out a little bit bitter, but it’s still got a fuzzy peach ripple through it, not even a mild back-hint of ass. Not the overwhelming peachy flavour I was expecting from the smell of the dry leaf, but an enjoyable black all the same. It will take some experimenting to find the proper steeping time and temp.

As others have pointed out, there is a strong peach aroma when this tea is dry. It does not, however, carry over to the steep. There is a definite fruity flavour, but not as peachy as I hoped for. Don’t know if I would get again.

Cold brewed, just okay. I kinda get a peach flavor, but on the whole it’s unremarkable.

Fjellrev

Ech, on the bright side, cold-brewing eats up more leaf, so it’s easier to polish it off that way!

Lynxiebrat

I’ve yet to meet a peach tea that I like more then Perfect Peach by Bigelow. A few that have come close though.

Daddyselephant

My thoughts exactly, Fjellrev. I like it cold more than I do hot, so this will be cold brew sipdown.

Lynxiebrat you know, Bigelow does some things very, very right. I love their French Vanilla.

I have so many good memories associated with this tea, and really like that it isn’t too fruity despite the strong peach scent it gives off when dry.
