Description

Huangshan Maofeng is one of the most famous teas of China. It is produced in Anhui Province near Huangshan (Yellow Mountain). The translation of Huangshan Maofeng is ‘Yellow Mountain Fur Peak,’ referring to the hairs that grow on the young leaf buds, and the shape of the processed leaf, which looks like a mountain peak. The best Huangshan Maofeng is spring-plucked; we found the flavor and quality this season to be excellent. Grown at a small garden, the leaf is fluffy, tippy, and delicate.
