An unusual pu-erh from Jing Gu Village in Yunnan Province. The pick is one bud and one leaf and the tea is withered under moonlight, not sunlight. Because the withering is done under moonlight, it takes longer (nights are cooler without sunshine) and the tea leaves have the chance to oxidize a bit more that they would otherwise. As a result, the flavor is somewhat reminiscent of oolong with no astringency.
Grown at an altitude of 1500 meters, picked from trees between 100 and 300 years old.
