Our ultra-fine Bì Luó Chūn. For days when you want something more polished and rare. Or when you’re just feeling extra groovy.
Bì Luó Chūn, literally meaning Green Snail Spring, is given the name due to its shape the tea takes after rolling resembling a tiny snail. The tea gives a lovely floral flavor with a slight bitter note of citrus. Quality is usually determined in the uniform of a dark-jade green color. Smaller and delicate leaves are plucked from earlier in the season producing finer quality Bì Luó Chūn (end of March, Spring Equinox). Bigger leaves suggests leaves are plucked towards the end of the season (early April, Clear Brightness)
