Sencha Yufune is a premium green tea from the Uji region, between Kyoto and Nara, and the setting for the world’s oldest novel “The Tale of Gengi.” Since that time the area has produced the finest green teas of Japan, analogous to the Bordeaux region of France and its exquisite wines.
