This green tea which is also classified as a white tea, has been developed ever since a group of locals accidentally found an ancient white tea plant in a valley in An Ji County in 1982. The tea is picked in early spring during a very short picking season of about 30 days since the leaves begin to turn green when the temperature starts to increase.Hence, it is a rare variety among tea plants, and the color of its leaf buds changes with the seasons. The tea buds used for processing are grey in color and contain high levels of health enhancing Thiamine.
This tea is characterised by its delicate, soothing taste with notes of citrus and nuts, and a hint of orchid sweetness in its aroma.Received in its freshest form at The Finest Brew Beijing offi ce; the leaves are once again thoroughly examined as part of rigorous quality control before packing with great care. It is then couriered to our warehouse in South San Francisco to make its way to you as quickly as possible.
