This tea was originally sent as part of our December tea club parcel. It is available to purchase at 20% discount for members of our tea club.
It’s an autumn picking from tall trees growing wild in the forest near Guafengzhai. These trees are commonly known as Gao Gan Shu (tall pole trees) due to their tall, straight appearance as they shoot up towards the forest canopy to reach the light.
The flavour is rich and vibrant. These bricks are pressed a bit more tightly than we’d hoped for when we commissioned them for the tea club, but I think the quality of the tea still shines through. Careful with your fingers when prying off the leaves!
