This Spring 2009 oolong was grown in the Muzha area of Taiwan. This area is famous for it’s Tie Guan Yin cultivar plants that were brought to Taiwan by immigrants from the Anxi province of mainland China.
It was hand picked, showing complete leaf and bud systems and given a light-medium roast. The taste is smooth, with a buttery sweet flavour and a long hui gan (sweet aftertaste).
