Found the other half-packet of this while prowling through wilderness of the back half of my tea cabinet. Now that the temps are spiking, I’m craving lighter, greener, oolonger varieties, and this fits the bill nicely.

It’s a good quality sencha and when you taste it, your brain says, “cool, tropical!” It does not necessarily say, “ah-hah! I’m tasting pineapple.” The flavors and florals counteract any heavy vegetal taste that might normally come with the sencha.

LiberTEAS was the ROCK STAR she is…and sent me some of this and I am very grateful! I always LOVE trying anything with Pineapple!!! This fit the bill! There are other things going on here and they all work well and I like that!!! I had a cup hot and a cup cold and they were both good…sorry for all the backlogging today! BTW…this smells AWESOME!

Yesterday I brewed some of this for the fridge (in addition to enjoying a hot cuppa) – and am I glad I did! Today is quite a warm day, but, it sure is nice inside with a cold glass of this tea!

this makes a very nice iced tea – the flavors do mute slightly though vs. the hot cuppa. It is very refreshing, however, and really hits the spot. The pineapple is sweet and juicy (just softer) and the lemon seems to stand out a bit more than it did yesterday because of the softer pineapple taste.

Cold brewed 2 tbsp in 8oz water overnight. Made a strong and refreshing drink for lunch today. This was the last of this tea. Cold brewing seemed to bring out more balanced flavor, and no bitterness from either the tea or the citrus peels.

I made this by the cold brew in the ’fridge method and I love it. The pineapple stays true, it is a very pretty pale green and the berry and lemon come out as nice additions.

I remembered my best friend had left this tea at my house (since I have a better loose tea maker) and I decided to selfishly brew some for myself while I have the chance.

It seems a little bland, i’m not sure if I let the water get hot enough before steeping. I can taste the green tea, but hardly any of the fruity flavors that I expected. I expected more of a Pineapple flavor, but instead the flower flavor is more potent. From what I am tasting, it’s good, but I would like a stronger taste. Next time I brew this I will have to use either more leaves, or steep for a longer time.
