Commissioned in the style of a 7542, this tea is strong, complex, and lightly smoky in aroma, with a noticeable camphor note. The tea is dense in texture and exhibits both sweetness and fragrant wood, as well as an incense note that will appeal to fans of Wistaria’s 2007 “Hongyin” Production or Xiaguan’s classic recipes. This tea has been stored on the more humid end of the spectrum of dry Taiwan storage, and some cakes will have humid storage notes which dissipate after breaking up and airing out the cake.
