From Tealyra

Superfruit Mango tea is a juicy fruit blend featuring our superfruit superstar goji berries, together with ruby pomegranate and luscious mango!

Goji berries (枸杞子 Gou Qi Zi, or wolfberries) are a natural, and popular Chinese health food that can be steeped as tea. Popularized through Traditional Chinese Medicine, now goji berries are recognized worldwide for their wonderful properties. Studies have shown that goji berries are high in antioxidants, which are anti-cancer and anti-aging. They can protect the immune system, improve eyesight and can protect your liver with regular consumption.

Our totally tropical tea blend of apple, pomegranate, orange, goji berry, mango, coconut, and pineapple is fragrant and sweet! Once steeped the tropical tea blend infuses a golden liquid with a strong mango-pineapple aroma, its taste is sweet, like a plump goji berry and fresh fruit smoothie!

Enjoy our Superfruit Mango tea hot or iced, and bring out the superstar in you!

Ingredients: Apple, pomegranate kernels, flavor, orange wedges, goji, elderberries, coconut chips, sweetened pineapple, sweetened mango, sweetened papaya, sea buckthorn berries, chokeberries, tartaric and citric acids, black currants

New batch of fruit blends from Tealyra! Even though I’ve found several that I want to reorder, I can’t resist trying new ones ha ha.

This one is not well-suited to cold steeping (IMO). It comes out watery and bland, but has a strange bitter flavor in the background. I assume that’s probably the orange peel, which doesn’t tend to do well when steeped for a long period of time.

I think for the second half of the pouch, I’ll try icing this one instead.
