Description

Zhejiang Province, China
Pan-fired
Lark’s-tongue style
Bold yet sweet, soft ‘green’ flavor
Fresh, vegetal aroma
Bright green-colored liquor edged with silver

Long Ding is a beautiful sword-shape tea from western Zhejiang Province. It should not to be confused with Longjing ( Dragonwell) from eastern Zhejiang Province, Long Ding is an early season pluck of just the emerging bud.

Our visit to the Long Ding tea factory on our first tea sourcing trip to China was a great experience. This region has many bamboo forests and a lush forest environment for cultivating fine teas.

Long Ding is one of eastern China’s most exquisite and distinctive teas and its flavor is very refreshing.

Sweet and aromatic but with a bit of a stony, minerally personality as well, Long Ding buds will stand up straight in the water as they steep.
