This very attractive Mao Feng tea with the quality addition „Criss Cross“ originates from the province Anhui in the north-east of China. Criss Cross describes the immaculate structure of the leaves. The cup is light yellow and the tea tastes freshly aromatic. The taste of Mao-Feng Green is like a light China Keemun with a fresh green taste. It may be a pure leaf, but the flavour is sweet and aromatic for a green tea.
Even though Mao Feng is a premium quality tea, it is also perfect for green tea beginners.
My own research and experience:
It’s great tea for sunny afternoon on a garden or terase. You can find the Mao Feng Criss Cross more sweeter than most other common China green teas. I like its nice aroma and fresh taste.
