It is the most popular Japanese Green Tea. It represents about 70% of all tea produced in Japan. It literally means “roasted”, reminiscent of its old production process. The infusion is emerald green and it flavour is reminiscent of freshly cut grass. Its antioxidants make it act as an effective antibacterial agent, so it is never absent accompanying Sushi. Rich in antioxidants and low in theine.
