TH description: Amusing name isn’t it? The legend of how this tea tree got its name goes back more than 100 years. Upon checking up the tree in the morning as the owner usually did, he found clippings of the branches were stolen. Not only this unethical behavior angered the tree owner, the thief impolitely “fertilized” the tree before his departure. As funny as this sounds, the name Thief Poop stuck to the tree for over a century.
Despite the unattractive name, it’s actually a very good tea. If you like medium roast oolong, this tea has what you want, smooth, silky caramel, cool sensation on the throat, and meaty – a term describing full body texture.
