One of the most famous tea villages from Yiwu is Ma Hei. Teas from Yiwu are known to be smooth and silky with a refreshing and sweet taste and this one is no exception.

Last review on the 22/05/2020

This tea is syrupy, sweet and creamy with some almond aftertaste. The mouthfeel of this tea is great. A very tasty tea. It does show some slight astringency which allows this tea to reveal nuts and spices flavours. Initially it had a persistent bitterness but it has since almost totally disappeared.

This is a Spring tea made from ancient tea trees (Gushu).
