The Wa Long 2020 Guoyoulin comes from the Yiwu state protected forest where it grows in a pristine environment far away from the human eye. Farmers are only allowed to visit their trees during harvest and visitors can’t access this area. It’s hard to imagine a better environment to grow tea in Yunnan. Teas from this region are famous for being thick, smooth, having a strong fragrance, a long lasting sweet aftertaste and no bitterness. It’s a very elegant tea from one of our favorite tea growing areas.

This is the first flush of 2020 Spring coming from Gushu (old tea trees) growing in the forest.
