This particular puerh comes from Meng Song May 15, 2013 and was picked and pressed into cakes of 200grams. They are a total of 60 pieces that are harvested and this is the only harvest this year. This is a sheng puerh (green puerh). The best leaves are used of the oldest trees. This puerh comes from Menghai area, Manxiliang mountain where the Lafu minority lives. This is a mountain of more than 2000 meters high, the highest in Xishuangbanna, north of the Nannuomountain. The tea is 200 year old trees and picked only in spring.
The smell is sweet, a little bitter on the tongue, with a sweet aftertaste (huigan ). It’s a young puerh, but very fine taste and it will get less bitter in time. It is actually recommended to drink a bit of this puerh to drink every year.
