From Tazo

Take the clouds from the sky and wrap yourself in them like an impossibly soft and luxurious shawl. Let the fragrant rose petals and lavender brush against your face, and the calming lemon balm and soothing valerian turn thoughts of the day into big, cushy pillows.

Bring some fresh, filtered water to a boil.
For hot tea, place one Tazo filterbag in your cup, mug or gourd.
Pour 8 oz of water over the filterbag.
Steep for 5 minutes while contemplating your favorite eternal mysteries.

If iced tea is your desire, use two filterbags, steep normally, and then pour over ice.

This is a weird one for me. I love how it smells when it’s dry and as it’s brewing. It really does smell like a spa – soothing, sensual, relaxing. (Or I’m assuming that’s what a spa smells like, this tomboy hasn’t ever been in a real one.)

But the second I sip it, all I can taste is…rose. I hate roses – most flowers, really, although I’m not anti-floral with my tea. But I really have a deep dislike of roses – the smell mainly.

I’m going to keep working with this one. I’ve tried it on two different steeping temps and I’ll keep working my way down to “delicate” at 150 degrees. Here’s hoping…

I’m supposed to get up at 5:45 AM tomorrow but I can’t sleep. Thought I’d give this a try since I have a nearly full box sitting around. The taste is better than the first time I had it, but still kind of strange. I can mainly taste licorice, rose, and bit of ginger. The smell is lightly floral, not overpowering. From the last time I had this I do remember that it did quiet a good job make me sleepy so hopefully it’ll do so again.

I haven’t been on Steepster in a while and can I just say I love the new layout! Having the numbers on the rating bar is awesome as well because I have to have them end in 0 or 5.

This is the best sleep tea I have ever had, and I have tried many! I am heart broken that it’s discontinued! !!
