We’re very happy to have found a small batch of this very fine spring 2018 tea the we thought was all sold-out before we could even propose it on TTC. If you liked our Winter 2017 production, this one will be even more rewarding. Made from a fine picking of very young leaves and plenty of buds last March, this unique green tea shows all the vigor of the very promising spring tea season we’ve had this year. Made from the Qing Xin family of cultivars, the king of the high mountain teas of Taiwan, this Gan Zhi sub-variety is also liked for making Oriental Beauty teas because of its generous buds that help make this tea oh so smooth and round with light, almond like, sweet roasted accents, a good vegetal body with hints of creamy artichoke, and the flowery and balsam freshness of High Mountain Oolongs. A very rewarding sip, and very different from Chinese green teas. This tea is definitely a must try and is made from organically farmed leaves by one of our long time collaborators, just for us. We purchased the whole production which is offered exclusively here on Taiwan Tea Crafts!
