This Gyokuro Reserve is an exquisite work of art by our Japanese tea master. Harvested only once a year, these tender tea buds are shaded from direct sunlight for at least 20 days before harvest. This shade-grown method increases the chlorophyll content of the tea, which results in the beautiful jade green color of the leaves and an incredibly sweet infusion with low level of tannin.
