There are a number of flavors that develop in this cup, but I especially love the subtle sweetness that shines through, it really appeals to my sweet tooth. I’ve been trying very hard to avoid added sugar lately and instead prefer to enjoy teas that have a natural sweetness to them. Also immediately noticeable about this tea are the floral notes the magnolia contributes, they are much more subtle than other floral teas. Jasmine is a much more commonly found ingredient in scented teas, but I find that it is oftentimes overwhelming, reminding me more of potpourri than tea. I’m glad to see that magnolia falls into the softer category of floral teas, I think that it may appeal to those of you who wish to find a floral tea to enjoy, but have found other types off-putting.

I would like to Thank Andrew at Simple Loose Leaf who provided me with a $50 credit to use towards their subscription service. This was the sixth tea that I was sent in my six month plan.
I love the scent of magnolia. We have 2 trees in our yard! Interesting to imagine it as part of a tea :)
Sounds like a good one to try~ loving the bit of floral in the
Earl of Anxi (Verdant) that I am sipping just now ;-)
