I find this a decent tea as hojicha goes. I have begun drinking it at times because it is lower in caffeiine. This one is very roasty and I added some sweetener to it.

I brewed this one time in a 16oz Teavana Glass Perfect Tea Maker/Gravity Steeper with 3 tsp leaf and 175 degree water for 2 min.

Have you tried the flavored hojichas from Yunomi? They have some really tasty ones.

I picked up two of their flavored Hojichas last night.

I hope you enjoy them. A couple are surprisingly good as milk teas which is my favorite way to drink them before bed.
