Description

Our Spring 2009 high mountain oolong from Lishan, Taiwan needs no introduction. Amongst afficiandos of Formosa oolongs, the name Lishan is instantly recognized as exemplary of the highest quality tea.

At 2200 meters above sea level, Lishan is one of the highest peaks amongst the 12 that make up the Lishan Range. The combination of high elevation, a more northerly latitude and skilled craftsmanship produced a tea this spring with a rich sugar cane quality that yields a longer, more persistent finish.
