WOW! Pineapple! HELLO!

Step Aside! Step Aside! Everyone make-way for the Pineapple! He demands your attention and if you don’t listen he will shout it from the mountain tops! Well, he’ll shout it anyway!

This is one STRONG Pineapple tea and I like it!!!

Sugary, fruity, sweet, pineapple! Then I can pick up on the Green Teas, Papaya, Mango…but not so much the cardamom, bamboo, or ginger which is totally fine by me!

This is a treat!

I’m still looking for a BAMBOO!!! tea.

Batrachoid

This sounds like a good gift for my paternal family. They’re Hawai’ian and a lot have Crohn’s. I’m always looking for ways to sneak them ginger and cardamom.

Trying this again, but added an extra teaspoon of tea in (3 tsps for 16 oz). I can definitely smell pineapple this time around…

Still not getting much pineapple coming through in the taste, though this pot is much better than my previous attempts. Still getting that Genmaicha taste, but with more leaf it’s not as overpowering. Bumping the rating on this…it’s much, much better with that additional tsp of leaf!!

This is really good. A very unique approach to the usual tropical tea.

There is a lot going on! The pineapple is the strongest note, but because of so many other ingredients, it doesn’t overwhelm the cup. I can taste each note and they are very harmonious and create an almost seamless kind of taste. I love the genmaicha in this, it adds just a hint of toasted flavor that accents the flavor of the cardamom very well. The coconut is very delicate here, the mango and papaya give a nice sweetness to the cup. The bamboo is not a strong flavor, but it is just enough in there to get your taste buds to sit up and say “hey, what was that?”

A very unusual blend – I like it a lot.

PS: Thanks to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this tea. YUM!

I never would have thought of genmaicha in a tropical tea. How intriguing.

A tropical, pineapple and honey flavored blend with robust sencha green tea. A sweet treat without the sugar!
