An Ode to Tea challenge – N Redux
I feel I’m cheating and not actually finding sipdowns or new notes for some of these letters, so I’m revisiting some of these letters with new teas to reach my goal. This tea is both a sipdown AND a tea I have never written a note for. This is a sample from TreeGal! Thank you very much! This is an odd blend — fennel, cinnamon, ginger root and vanilla extract. The flavor seems a bit muted. I think I had it before and it was also muted, so now that I’m remembering that, I definitely had the intention of steeping up the remainder of the pouch – two teaspoons to see if that would make a difference on flavor strength. Not really! I’m surprised there isn’t so much more flavor here. It’s a bit of a bland mellow cup – I guess “nice” is accurate. Second steep the same. If anything, they do have this blend at Maya Tea, I just noticed.
