Coconut Sweet Matcha

Made for lattes, this coconut green is unbelievably refreshing iced.

Brewing Suggestions (Sweet Matcha Latte)
Warm a ¼ liter (≈8 oz) of a milk or milk substitute.
We suggest Vanilla Soy. Trust us, it tastes like a blueberry muffin!
Boil a ¼ liter (≈8 oz) of water to 80°C/175°F.
If you don’t have a temperature sensitive kettle, follow the next two steps with only milk, then top it off with boiling water.
Mix together, and add 1 tbsp of powder.
Stir thoroughly.
Enjoy, and drink without straining!

Brewing Suggestions (Traditional Bowl)
Suggested tools: Matcha Bowl, Matcha Whisk, Matcha Spoon.
If you wanna get started, consider a Matcha Starter Kit!

Prewarm a ¼ liter (≈8 oz) glass (or a bowl, if you’re traditional).
Use ¼ liter (≈8 oz) of 80°C/175°F water in the vessel.
Use 1 tsp of powder, or a full scoop from a traditional matcha spoon.
Whisk thoroughly until there is a fine froth, then drink without straining.

U is for… Utopia.

My first order from Phoenix Pearl Tea Company. My husband has already had a few cups of this one and loves it. I’m really enjoying it too – it’s sweetened just enough and the coconut flavor is light and natural. I used coconut milk today but I’ve also made it with whole milk and enjoy it both ways. I do cut the amounts in half rather than making a 16 ounce mug of matcha (which I’m not sure I even own) and the 8 ounces is plenty. The bag recommends using vanilla soy milk for a blueberry muffin flavor, but I don’t normally buy soy milk so I may just add a bit of vanilla extract next time. I’m not sure where the blueberry flavor would come in since this is coconut, but if it somehow showed up I’d enjoy it.
