PeLi Teas Misty Mountain Green Tea is an early spring green tea made of fine tender tips, long wiry shaped leaves with downy hairs which give it a distinct chestnut fragrance with fresh sweet taste. Our Misty Mountain Green Tea is produced from carefully chosen, tender leaves and delicate buds. After the tea is plucked, it is withered to reduce the leaf moisture to make the tea leaves more flexible and supple to prevent breakage during processing. The tea leaves are then baked to neutralize the tea’s natural enzymes and prevent oxidation. Misty Mountain Green tea is then carefully rolled into a wiry, curled shape and then baked two to three more times. Then our tea is refined and graded and ready for packaging.
