So I picked up a box of “Adventure Tea” from Nordqvist. I was mostly getting the Moomin teas, but I figured I would try a few of their other teas while I was at it. The Adventure box has 20 different individually wrapped teabags, and it was only around $5 so I couldn’t pass it up! I decided since there’s only one of each tea, I would just not bother adding them to my cupboard, and so they won’t count as sipdowns.

Anyway, all of that to say this is the first one! At first I was confused by the wrapper being leopard print, since it’s named after a crocodile? But it turns out it’s part of an African collection and they all have differently colored leopard print wrappers, so makes sense.

This is a red fruits rooibos, and it’s pleasant enough. The rooibos has a very mellow woody flavor without any medicinal notes, and the flavoring is subtle but I still get a sense of red fruits. It almost tastes a bit creamy as well, though that’s not mentioned in the ingredients. So it’s giving me a sort of berries & cream vibe.
