I’ll be spending more time with this before rating but I LOVE the way it looks! It reminds me of Paper Quilling!

Once infused and the rings separate it looks like (Silver) Needle Tea Leaves.

I got more vegetal but want to revisit this one very soon before rating. I think I over infused. It suggests only 1 minute.

First impression tho – a neat tea! Vegetal yet fresh!

I’ve always wanted to try quilling but it’s so tiny and fiddly, I think it would make me nuts instead of relaxing me.

Neat tea! I may have to try this one!

Nicole

So cool looking! I messed with quilling briefly in high school. Pretty sure I don’t have the patience or the dexterity for it any more. :)

Backlog:

Thank you TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this tea! It’s really a beautifully crafted tea – the leaves scrolled up in little rings. So lovely! It’s fun to watch them brew too!

Delightfully vegetative with notes of fruit, overall, I’m finding the flavor to be mellow yet invigorating. A really lovely cuppa.

When Nature’s Tea Leaf offered to send me some samples, I requested this because it looks so totally awesome. I knew I would love serving this in my little glass teapot.

I got both the jasmine and regular Daughter Rings, and today I am having this one with Asian buffet leftovers. I used 174F water and gave it a one minute steep. At that point, the water had barely changed color! Have no fear, though, it is nicely flavored. I actually made four steeps from one teaspoon of leaves in my eight ounce pot.

I like this! It reminds me a little bit of Snow Dragon. I find it to be very clean and fresh, with a mineral flavor that borders on metallic. (I like that.) I taste rocks, worn smooth and round and perfectly clean by icy fresh stream water that just melted on the mountaintop.

My biggest difficulty with Nature’s Tea Leaf is figuring out what to order! Thank you, Denise!

My first infusion had a more vegetal quality than I prefer. It’s amazing how much flavor one can extract in 60 seconds. The 2nd was absolutely perfect “for me” at about 75 seconds. I won’t be providing a rating since I am an employee of NTL.

ashmanra

Oh, this one is one my personal wish list! I love the unique shape.
