From Nabo

This was Christmas in a cup! The spices of Christmas are our number one November and December tea. Warming, spicy, a little sweet… Perfect together with a splash of milk, or even better: brew the tea a little extra concentrated and pour in warm skimmed milk and a little honey. As a simple version of chailatte, you won’t want to drink anything else, we promise!

Origin: Rwanda and India List of ingredients: Black tea*, cinnamon*, ginger*, orange peel*, cloves*, carob powder*, natural vanilla flavor, cardamom*, black pepper*, roasted rice*, natural cinnamon flavor*. *From controlled organic cultivation.

Nabo 2023 Advent Day 8: Julens Kryddor

This is fine, for a Christmas spice tea. There’s nothing wrong with it, but also nothing really right with it?

Advent Calendar from Nabo: Day 8
When brewed, this tea smells like a mulled apple cider with the spices. When sipped, flavours changed a bit, it delivers mish-mash of spices, cinnamon being strongest, cloves and ginger being a bit behind. I assume it is because they have used also the cinnamon flavouring.

Actually, in this tea the black tea base isn’t noticeable at all. Instead I notice mentioned cinnamon and somehow, orange. That’s so strange after noticing apples in aroma, but none being there!
