This Hawai`i grown green tea is named after the Goddess of Mists, Lilinoe. This mysterious Goddess lives high on Mauna Kea, the volcanic mountain on which this tea is grown. She makes herself visible only when she desires, dancing around the steep rocky slopes and through the Mamane trees, where the Palila Honeycreeper, an elusive endangered bird nests. This green tea, like her namesake, is slightly cloudy, similar to a high quality gyokuro. An exquisite green cup with just a hint of cloudiness, and a soft, almost buttery mouth feel.
