1 Tasting Note View all

“Above average for a ripened puerh, this has a pleasing blend of earthy flavor and a tart, rounded personality. This is considered to be one of the better ripened puerh teas, but it’s more notable...” Read full tasting note

Description

This ripe puerh is ideal for immediate drinking, but will not lose any of its appeal over the next several years. This blend contains a preponderance of Grade 6 leaves, fermented over forty-five days. This popular tea comes in a 200 gram brick, and has a deep brown liquor that won’t quit. Some might even taste an bit of earthiness on the finish. This is a tried and true recipe that is a prime candidate for near-term aging and drinking. This uses an average of Grade 6 leaves (like a 7262) and blends them for optimum flavor. Like other Da Yi ripe products, the fermented tea that composes this brick was fermented with great care to preserve character of the tea.
