Description

Upstream on the Asahina river running from the Fuji-Yama surroundings, the generous volcanic soil nourrishes this rare and outstanding Gyokuro. On its soft and green slopes, the tea buds are gently covered with straw to prevent them from bright sunlight. After the harvest, the colors turns to a sparkling emerald green giving a refreshing and smooth Gyokuro chosen by the imperial court for its flowery and green fragrance, sensual as a silk velvet, lifted by an unexpected fruity note.
