1 Tasting Note View all

“I just haven’t got the hang of pu-erh’s yet. This one seems like fun, but I tend to avoid it because it confuses me. Must try experimenting some more.” Read full tasting note

Description

For the first time ever, Mariage Frères has combined a red-coloured Pu-Erh grown on the high misty plateaus of Yunnan, referred to as the land of eternal spring, with the flowers of Camellia Sinensis.

The dense and sustained aroma of mossy earth and tea tree bark, together with the intense fragrances of the soil, merge with the fresh and fine wildflower scent. It creates a striking and original contrast in grain and finesse and yields a liquor that invades the palate and gives lasting aftertaste pleasure.

Measure out 2,5 g of tea
for 20 cl of pure, filtered water

Bring the water to a simmer (about 95° C)
and let the tea infuse for 5 minutes
