Made from buds, this hand-crafted green tea is flavoured by long contact with jasmine: over several days, the flowers are mixed with the tea on four successive occasions lasting several hours, so that the tea leaves steadily absorb the fragrance (this technique was developed during the Ming dynasty).
It is adorned with chrysanthemum flowers (the Chinese symbol of autumn), jasmine, and rose (representing love), which lends the clear, fragrant cup an bouquet of colours that sparkle like fireworks.
