"Jin Cha" is tea pressed into a mushroom shape. This 250 gram beauty is a Nan Jian production, pressed in 2011 from leaves picked in the Wu Liang area.
We’ve come to expect a certain sweetness when tasting Nan Jian teas. It’s very apparent in this tea, too! The three of us who tasted it all noted "creamy" from the first sip. In fact, as the tea liquor cooled an aroma somewhat like vanilla pudding started to emerge. The wet leaves themselves possess a deep and intriguing earth aroma. The sweetness of the tea lingers in the mouth and a mild cooling sensation down into the the throat continues after the last cup is gone. A wonderful gifting tea because of its unique shape and crowd-pleasing flavor.
250 grams is equivalent to 8.8 ounces. Certified organic.
