Kona-cha (or Sushi Tea, as some may call it), is made of fannings and dust of teas, which are byproducts of tea processing. It contains finely broken tea leaves of various tea types, creating a densely rich blend of sweet, savory, and salty. Ours is tossed with a little bit of matcha for an added flavor oomph.
To brew this tea, you will need a strainer. Combine 1 tbsp with 1 cup (8-12 oz) of just-boiled hot water for 30 seconds, and pour through a strainer.
