Japanese green tea type Kamairicha. Kamairicha is a more traditional tea than the now more famous Sencha. Today, kamairicha is a unique tea, produced by farms committed to maintaining local traditional practices. Unlike sencha, the “greenery” of the tea is not preserved by the act of steaming, but by heating on an iron wok, which adds a delicate nut to the taste.
The tea has a full light taste with tones of pistachios and roasted corn and a milky texture.
