Description

A connoisseur grade gyokuro from Hoshino Village, home of award winning Japanese tea. Much like France’s famed Bordeaux region, Hoshino Village has the perfect combination of altitude, soil composition and annual rainfall. With a truly remarkable aroma and beautiful needle shaped leaves, this tea unfolds and reveals beautiful structure, balance and body. All with absolutely no astringency. Shizuku Gyokuro offers deep buttery marine notes, roasted nuts and sea salt. An unbelievable “umami” dominates, a sign of the tea’s high amino acid content. A true showcase of the Hoshino Valley.
