I don’t know as much about Puerh as I should, I suppose. All I can see is buds! Like in the pic and I just pasted the info from their website for the description. I know it’s raw because it says it’s ‘untouched’ and with no human interference.
Ah ha. You answered my question:) Raw=sheng. Cooked=shu. I love sheng, but Yunnan sheng isn’t my favorite. What were your steeping parameters for this? You don’t list them and I want to try this at some point, but have no clue what to do w/ it lol.
Was this a “white bud” puer? The ones with the post-fermented white tea leaves?
I went with about 3 minutes then decided to go for at least another minute because I wanted to see if I could get it stronger.

I believe Yabao is what Verdant calls a tea that looks very much like this. Wild Fresh Buds is what In Nature calls it. Another tea that is similar in appearance is Wild Arbor Buds from Mandala Tea.
