This charming garden takes its name from the scenic beauty of the area. Our search for the best Assam each year has led us to a number of garden’s in this fine group, which is monitored by the Ethical Tea Partnership. This fine tea is a First Flush picking, most of Assam’s best teas are from the second flush, but this was painstakingly made made to produce abundant tips which guarantee a really smooth infusion with a sophisticated character. The malty quality is very apparent with a lingering fruit like quality. Greenwood premium teas represent the top segments among both the orthodox and CTC teas, and are known for their ‘depth’, both in colour as well as in flavour. Where this tea really distinguishes itself is in the fine, almost ‘Muscatel’ fragrance and aftertaste generally found only in Darjeeling teas and also in its very smooth, lightness of character.
