“Not bad, a bit musty. I like Imperial Tea Court’s Imperial and Special Reserve puerhs better, in the loose-leaf puerh category” Read full tasting note
The small twisted leaves and abundance of bright golden tips which make up our Superior Puerh produce an exceptional connoisseur’s tea whose distinctive dark amber liquor beautifully combines the lighter and darker sides of Puerhs. Here we find the sweetly crisp astringency characteristic of a younger Puerh tea attractively balanced with the smoother mellowness brought out by careful aging.
Preparation:Superior Puerh may be brewed in a variety of ways, including with an ordinary teapot, individual gaiwans or in a small Yixing pot. Allow approximately one teaspoon of leaf per person. Infuse with near boiling water for 1 to 3 minutes depending on desired strength. (The finished tea will be anywhere from dark red to completely black in color.)
